The Corporate Partner Program offers an opportunity for construction businesses to improve their company performance and to demonstrate their commitment to Clemson University’s Department of Construction Science and Management (CSM) and its students through direct financial support of the Center for the Improvement of Construction Management and Processes (CICMP).

The mission of the Corporate Partner Program is to support the initiatives of the CICMP and professionally-related activities of the students and faculty in the CSM Department. Professional, student, and faculty activities include field trips to project sites, participation in local, regional and national construction association competitions, faculty professional development and seed money for applied research and professional development projects for the benefit of the partners.

To become a part of the Corporate Partner Program, companies are asked to make a three year tax deductible pledge of $5,000 annually. For the investment, participating companies will realize the following benefits:

  • Special recognition in prominent locations including in the CSM Department and the Center’s office and website, and appropriate department events.
  • Recognition of the company in all appropriate Center, CSM department, college, university and industry publications.
  • A seat on the national Center’s Board of Corporate Advisors to help guide the work of the Center.
  • Two free rounds of golf at the CSM Department annual contractor, faculty and student golf tournament along with the company’s name listed as a hole sponsor and the opportunity to set up a table/tent to distribute company information.
  • Two complementary seats to the annual CSM Department Corporate Partner-Student Career Reception and Dinner for the purpose of meeting students interested in internships and permanent employment.
  • Access to the Center’s resources to develop and conduct continuing education programs and/or applied research at reduced costs.
  • Complimentary copies of all Center research, service, educational and other publications.
